Zaitzeff: After Action Report

Well the first meeting of the Burgher Club is on the books. And in all truth, the first burger could be the measuring stick for which all other burgers are measured against. Zaitzeff's East Village outpost is a monsterously tasty burger. I'll post juicy pics and a review later.

The agenda was varied, including such topics as:
  • American monetary policy
  • Exchange rates
  • Natural v. Artificial
  • Burgers

The first three topics all had to do with how expensive it is these days to go to a strip club in Italy. This is definitely an overlooked problem with the exchange rates. A Euro is not a dollar my friends, even though it started out 1:1. I know the current state of affairs is good for U.S. exports and is probably staving off recession, but what about people abroad for bachelor parties? They are only throwing god damn coins and each one is still close to two bucks. Nothing makes you feel your currency is worthless like being worried about how many coins you've thrown at an Italian stripper. Inflation, schminflation, this needs to be a consideration when the Federal Reserve decides to adjust rates next time.

On another note, an open thread will be created later to discuss the place for the January meeting. Start thinking!
