Well friends, no bones about it: May 29 is National Burger Day. In honor of this momentous occassion, the Burgher Club has decided to have a party. Bring your friends, loved ones, anyone who loves a burger.
There is also a selfish reason for this as well. I have taken a new job that requires me to be in London for the summer. This party will be a mini "bon voyage" for me and the lady. While she has not been mentioned in these pages before, she loves a good burger and is vexed daily at the Burgher Club's exclusionary gender politics.
May 29th, Royale at 7:30. Hope to see you all there.
Sidenote: who wants to run the site while I'm gone? The Burgher Club is bigger than any one man.
